Thompson is a Belgian family business founded by Hector De Smet in 1921 in the town of Geraardsbergen, home of the “Muur van Geraardsbergen” which is of course known from the Ronde Van Vlaanderen. After its establishment, Thompson immediately started full production in-house, from design to welding, painting and assembling frames. The Thompson philosophy very quickly became clear to the public, namely “A high quality for a fair price”.
Of course, after more than 100 years in the industry and 4 generations later, this ideology remains unchanged! Today, Thompson has a full range of bikes with the production of E-bikes, road, mtb, cross, sports and city bikes.
